About AEI

Overview

Established in 1983, AEI Corporation Ltd. is today a specialist manufacturer of Precision Aluminium Extrusion Products with an established track record.

We started off as a supplier of aluminium alloy extruded profiles for the construction and infrastructure industries. As a value added service, we also provide anodising services to meet the finishing requirements of our customers.

Recognising the strong growth potential of the computer and electronics industries, we enhanced our capabilities to include precision extrusion and diversified into the manufacturing of precision products, serving the high-tech electronics and precision engineering industries. Our efforts paid off as we gained industry recognition for our quality aluminium extrusion products.

Today, we are a specialist manufacturer of precision aluminium extrusion products, operating three extrusion production lines with an annual capacity of approximately 10,000 tonnes of aluminium extruded profiles. We are the only aluminium extruder to have production facilities located in Singapore and are well-positioned to respond to our customers' needs within a short turnaround time.

Over the years, we have developed the technical capabilities to produce precision extruded profiles which would meet the stringent requirements of our customers. As a result of our strong technical competencies and commitment to customer service, we have built up a wide customer base spanning diverse industries across the region.

Our Competitive Strengths

Extrusion Facilities
We are the only aluminium extruder in Singapore to have extrusion production facilities here. We have the capability to deliver our products to customers within a short turnaround time. This enables us to fulfill our customers' supply management requirements. In addition, our close proximity to our customers allows flexibility to review and modify product prototypes before mass production, which is critical for customers in the electronics and precision engineering industries.

Technical Capabilities
Over the years, we have built up an extensive knowledge base for the production of precision extrusion profiles. Our ability to meet the requirements of customers from the electronics and precision engineering segment is an endorsement of AEI's technical abilities as their requirements are generally more stringent than those required by extruded profiles users in general.

Established Customer Relationship
We have good working relationships with our customers. We work closely with our major customers to resolve technical issues which enables us to retain them as our customers since the start of our relationship.

Experienced Management Team
Our business activities are managed by an experienced and dedicated team. Our CEO, Executive Director and Executive Officers have many years of working experience amongst them and have an in-depth knowledge of the aluminium extrusion industry.
